How to Erase Explore Posts on Instagram

Instagram’s Explore feature is a great way to discover new content and accounts that match your interests. However, sometimes you might come across posts that you no longer want to see in your Explore feed. If you’re looking to erase explore posts on Instagram, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you out.

Step 1: Access the Explore Page

First, you need to access the Explore page on Instagram. You can do this by tapping the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the app. This will take you to the Explore section, where you’ll see a variety of posts from accounts you don’t follow.

Step 2: Find the Post You Want to Erase

Scroll through the Explore page and look for the post you want to erase. Once you find it, tap on the post to open it.

Step 3: Tap the Three Dots

After opening the post, you’ll see three dots in the upper-right corner of the screen. Tap on these dots to open a menu with various options.

Step 4: Select “Hide Post from Explore”

In the menu that appears, you’ll find an option called “Hide Post from Explore.” Tap on this option to remove the post from your Explore feed.

Step 5: Confirm Your Decision

A pop-up message will appear asking you to confirm your decision. Tap “Yes” to proceed and erase the post from your Explore feed.

Step 6: Erase Multiple Posts

If you want to erase multiple posts from your Explore feed, you can repeat the above steps for each post. Alternatively, you can use the “Hide” option in the post’s menu to quickly hide multiple posts at once.

Step 7: Manage Hidden Posts

If you ever want to view or unhide the posts you’ve hidden from your Explore feed, you can do so by going to your profile, tapping the three lines in the upper-right corner, selecting “Explore,” and then tapping “Hidden Posts.” From there, you can unhide any posts you wish to see again.

By following these steps, you can easily erase explore posts on Instagram and keep your Explore feed tailored to your interests. Remember that hiding posts from Explore does not delete them from Instagram; it simply removes them from your Explore feed.
