Curriculum

As specialist professionals we aim to ensure that every personalised programme combines the best of therapeutic intervention with a curriculum that truly reflects each student’s needs and interest and equips them to play a full part in life and work.

All students are exposed to a broad and balanced curriculum - with all doing core subjects of English, Maths, PSHE / Citizenship & Digital skills as well as having a Careers focus.

The core subjects are run alongside a personalised / bespoke curriculum, which offers Art & photography,  Biology, DesignTechnology, Humanities, Cooking &, Sport, as well as opportunities to access outdoor education in the form of forest school, horse riding, and land and animal based studies.

We always strive to enable students to reach their personal best and to focus toward a successful future, students have opportunities to achieve GCSE, Functional skills and BTec qualifications. Students will also have the benefit of an experienced and knowledgeable staff team who are able to deliver a therapeutic and holistic educational experience.

Each student’s needs are met through a careful and precise assessment process, a comprehensive intervention programme and continual tracking of progress and achievement.

These personalised programmes aim to restore young people’s self-confidence, self-esteem, self-control and self-motivation through a flexible, personalised and needs-led programme with absolute care, nurture and support.

At On Track Wisbech, we are seeking to provide a curriculum that strives to give a fully rounded education to all, as well as support individual student’s educational requirements, to create a passion for learning and also ultimately have a focus on employability skills.
